The lessons are designed around the open-source Hugging Face ecosystem and include practical coding work rather than only video lectures.
For a junior engineer targeting applied AI, the NLP or agents material is a sensible starting point after the current Hands-On Machine Learning chapter work. Keep the scope small: finish one module, produce a runnable notebook or small demo, and write a short README explaining the problem, data, evaluation and limitations. That will be more useful in an interview than listing several half-finished courses.
Course content is accessible without a paid monthly AI subscription, but running models can require compute. Start with hosted notebook examples or small models and check any service's current usage limits before uploading data. Do not put private employer, customer or personal data into public demos.
